Now, while creeping, your grunt will heal. Due to Grunts?huge HP, Grunts will heal much faster in the fountain.

Grunts normal attacks work wonder on the creeps with small armor.

So, quickly disposed of creeps with small armors first before attacking the creeps with big armors.

If you have enough grunts, you can start building trolls. That way, you can level up your Far Seer really fast.

When creeping somewhere far from the fountain, Grunts really shine. No need to lure creeps and stuff. Just attack the creeps. Grunts have cheap HP. Also, when one grunts are about to die, just move that grunts to the fountain to be reused latter.

Now, attack with all your might, once you have the earth quake.

Retreat with town portal when necessary.

The enemies of grunts are of course, air units.

That’s why after about 6-8 grunts, start massing trolls. The trolls will take care of the air unit while your grunts take care the pesky hero and other ground units.

Usually, in the middle of a fight, enemies will focus on so many things. A quick earthquake to their farm would maximize damage even further.

When your base is attacked, try attacking enemies base. Grunts collect money every time they hit buildings. Also, with earthquake, chance is you do more damage to them than they do damage to you.

Here is a secret of sleep. When you are sleeping, command the farseer to do what you want to do anyway. For example, say you want your Farseer to do chain lightning. Command him to do chain lightning anyway.

If the sleep level is low, chance is your Farseer will wake up soon. Once he wake up, he will automatically do the chain lightning you command.

Chance is the cool down for chain lightning will be about the same with the cool down for the sleep. So, the sleep really does nothing.

If the sleep level is high, command the Farseer to do the chain lightning anyway, and then tell one of your unit to attack the Farseer. The unit will only attack the Farseer once.

Hero don’t sleep too long.

Now, tower creeping, can also be combined with tower expand. That means more wyvern. Perhaps, some taurens?

Like many, I have been frustrated trying to level up my new characters on World of Worldcraft. Personally, I prefer playing Horde characters – Alliance is just too pretty for me personally. That aside, we still need to level our Horde characters up to take down those nasty alliance folks – and that can be a very frustrating endeavour.

Leveling from 1-70 can take weeks of playing time if you do not know how to efficiently level. Trust me, I was one that didn’t know how to level fast. So, I set out with a goal. To start a new character and see if I can improve on my previous times. Being inexperienced in leveling (since it’d been years since I leveled a new character) I set out to find the best guides to help someone like me, and hopefully you.

I started out with some of the user-submitted guides on ign, gamefaqs and other similar sites. While some were somewhat useful, they lacked detail. Most are walkthrus you are used to seeing for console games – text and not much else.

I then stumbled onto Joana’s horde leveling guide. Weary of buying ebooks, I decided to skip the promotional text and look into the guide at other sources. Feedback on sales were 100% positive on ebay and reviews from independent sources were all excellent as well. So, I decided I would give it a try.

Blizzard already charges $15 a month for my account, so buying anything else for the game was not all that exciting to me, especially at the cost of slightly over 2 months.

However, I figured if it saved me hours and possibly -days- of leveling and mindless grinding then it would be worth it.

I purchased the guide on January 15th. About a month later I was 70 with about 9.5 days of /played. Cutting my previous time by a huge margin. The guide comes with detailed number by number quests to do for every level. It also provides maps next to each leveling section with lines drawn to show you what path to follow. I now know why they say ‘You get what you pay for’ and as cliche as that is – it seems true in this case. I highly recommend this guide to both new and veteran players. Most people understand the rules for Freecell, but not everyone understands Freecell PowerMoves. Understanding PowerMoves is one of the most important keys to winning Freecell, and knowing how they work will increase your chances of winning Freecell.

A Freecell powermove (also called a supermove), is simply a shortcut move. It lets you move a sequence of cards in one move, instead of doing lots of individual moves.

It isn’t a special move though.

It’s just a shortcut, to move all the cards in the sequence in one move, rather than several moves using the available freecells and empty columns.

The number of cards you can move in a supermove sequence is based on how many freecells and empty columns are available. Some freecells games implement this incorrectly, and let you move any number of cards in a sequence.

But this is wrong. If you couldn’t move the sequence using individual card moves, then you can’t move the sequence using a powermove either.

A freecell supermove uses the empty columns and freecells as efficiently as possible, to ensure you can move the maximum number of cards. To work out how many cards can be moved, the following formula is used:

(1 + number of empty freecells) * 2 ^ (number of empty columns)

This is easier to understand by looking at the following chart…

This assumes you are moving the sequence to a non-empty column. If you are moving into an empty column, then the column you are moving into does not count as empty column.

A freecell powermove can always be broken down into several individual moves. Suppose you have 1 empty column, and 1 empty freecell. From the chart above you can see that we can move a sequence of 4 cards. Suppose we want to move 9,8,7,6 sequence onto a 10.

The moves would proceed as follows:
- Move the 6 to the freecell (Now one empty column, no empty freecells)
- Move the 7 to the empty column (Now no empty columns, and no empty freecells)
- Move the 6 onto the 7 (Now no empty columns, and one empty freecell)
- Move the 8 to the freecell (Now no empty columns, and no empty freecells)
- Move the 9 onto the 10 (Now no empty columns, and no empty freecells)
- Move the 8 onto the 9 (Now no empty columns, and one empty freecell)
- Move the 6 to the freecell (Now no empty column, no empty freecells)
- Move the 7 onto the 8 (Now one empty column, and no empty freecell)
- Move the 6 onto the 7 (Now one empty column, and one empty freecell)

So in this example, the powermove has saved us time by allowing us to do 1 move instead of 9.

There are a few things to notice in this example:
- The freecells and empty columns are used temporarily. At the end of the powermove, the number of empty freecells and columns is the same as at the start of the powermove.
- The freecells and empty columns are used as efficiently as possible. There is no way that any more cards could have been moved.
- Only the empty freecells and empty columns were used. Cards in other stacks were NOT used as temporary storage spaces.

This last point is particularly note-worthy. A supermove will only use the freecells and empty columns. It doesn’t account for any other cards in the tableau. This means you can often move a longer sequence by breaking doing the moves yourself, or doing several powermoves.

In the example above, if there had been a spare 9 in the tableau with the right color, a much longer sequence could have been moved. The 8,7,6 sequence would be moved onto the other 9 first. Then we could move another 4 cards using a normal powermove (Because we still have an empty column and freecell). So we could now move 9,10,J,Q onto a King, and then move the 8,7,6 onto the 9 again. So by breaking the sequence up into 2 moves, we are able to move a sequence of 7 instead of 4.

Being aware of this short-coming of supermoves will allow you to move longer sequences, which helps a lot in winning some of the harder freecell deals.

The other thing to be aware of with supermoves is how important empty columns are. If you look back to the chart above, you will see that empty columns are very valuable in freecell. Four empty freecells lets you move a sequence of 5 moves, while two empty freecells and two empty columns lets you move a sequence of 12! So try and empty up columns as soon as you can!

?KKQQ, KKJJ, KKTT, QQJJ, QQTT, KQJT, JT98, KKAQ, KKAJ, KKQJ, KKQT, KKJT, QQAK, QQAJ, AAKJ, QQKT, QQJT, QQJ9 are also best hands.

Did you know there are hundreds, if not thousands of solitaire games? You may have heard of some of the more popular ones, such as Freecell, Klondike, Pyramid, or Spider Solitaire.

But there are LOTS of other solitaire games as well. One of my favourites is a little-known game called Cruel Solitaire.

The aim of cruel solitaire is to build 4 ascending suit sequences in the foundation zone.

The opening tableau is made up of 4 foundation stacks (Each containing an Ace), a talon, and 12 manoeuvre stacks, each containing 4 cards.

You can move cards in the foundation stack onto cards of the same suit, and one more in rank.

For example, you can move a 3 of Clubs onto a 4 of Clubs, or a Queen of Hearts onto a King of Hearts, and a 2 of Spades onto a 3 of Spades.

REDEALING IN CRUEL SOLITAIRE…

The talon in Cruel Solitaire is unlike the talon in other solitaire games. It doesn’t actually deal out any more cards.

Instead, it redeals the cards in the manoeuvre stacks, so that each stack has 4 cards. The order of the cards stays the same, starting at the leftmost stack, with the bottom cards on a stack going to the top of the next stack.

CRUEL SOLITAIRE STRATEGY…

Understanding how the redeal works is the key to doing well in Cruel Solitaire.

You should focus on only redealing when you have to. The more you play, the more you’ll start to discover certain patterns that occur when you redeal. (HINT: A Card on top will stay on top, if all the stacks to the left of it have 4 cards).

Once you understand these patterns, you will be able to have control over which cards will shuffle around when you redeal. When you get to this stage of understanding, winning cruel solitaire becomes much easier… just focus on moving the rightmost cards to the talon first, and try and leave some leftmost cards in reserve for when you run out of moves. The best case scenario for this is to have a 2 at the top leftmost column. If this happens, don’t move the 2 to the talon, until you have exhausted all other moves and redeals.
